Daily Sketches In Australian Autumn

Hi, Friends, in this post, I'd share my daily sketches in autumn. Today, our day light saving is over. (* Later, this Wednesday or Thursday, sketches on jazz players in the Garden come up.)Unlike the northern hemisphere, we do not have a "sentimental" fall in Australia. But winds get cold. Big waves mercilessly crashes into white and a sky gets grey--is autumn. I sketched this a few days ago after swimming.By the way, I still search for specific leaves that represent an Australian autumn. If anyone knows it, please let me know."Chanson d'automne" (Autumn Song) Paul Verlaine is my favorite poem. What sort of image do you have for an autumn? My image, Autumn weaves life and death into her colorful cloth. Probably, life and death is the most impressive drama in autumn that captures our heart and thoughts, even though it's always happening on at anywhere and anytime. Life and death are like a coin's heads and tails. Two in one. Unable to separate them. End is beginning. Vice verse. If so, always hope stays with us in any context.

While adults feel sentimentalism, children enjoy playing around outside like other seasons(who cares sentiment?!). Their energy is like a go-around-clock for "36 hours per day." Any child loves watching my drawing and painting. Soon we get friends.

Once, my friend's son came to me and clang to me till I had to leave. The friend confessed me with a surprise, "My son is so shy...a slightly autism-like child. Amazing... he likes you at once."

Another friend's daughters wanted to keep me playing with them and would
never leave us talk together. At last, the friend said, "This is mom's friend!! Please let us have a chat!" I had a big laugh. Those children have grown up to teenagers. Their memories are in fallen brown leaves.

A bit strange, when I was little, time stayed with me. Today, time flies away quickly, unless I grab it.
Well, it means I'm getting older?--I smile in falling leaves.
Also, autumn is a good season for art, sports, ride, and any outside activity. The other day, I saw a sexy bike with attractive purple. The owner said, "Women love this purple." Huge money was spent in the bike, more than a usual car price. Men's passion for bikes is beyond girls' understanding. (Of course, they nag?! at our enthusiasm for shopping.)
Friends, enjoy EVERYTHING in autumn...and live fully
ʚ(ˆ◡ˆ)ɞ!!

  8. Lovely post, Sadami. My Haiku poem "Autumn Years" fits right in with your blog today. Have you read it? My birthday is in October so I am an Autumn baby. I love all 4 seasons, actually here in Maine we say we have 5 seasons - Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter and MUD. After hard winters we have lots of mud when the snow melts.
This year snow seems to be evaporating for a change, the air is dry and sucking it all up. Dropping it as rain somewhere in Europe I suspect. Sorry about that! Enjoy your day!

  9. Dear Kubi,
Thank you! I love autumn, but we still can swim at a beach. The bike was a challenging, as this girl is hopeless for a mechanic ʚ(ˆ◡ˆ)ɞ. Let's have fun in paiting autumn, BUT you will enjoy spring!!
    Cheers, Sadami

    Estimado Kubi,
¡Gracias! Me encanta el otoño, pero todavía puede nadar en una playa. La moto era un reto, ya que esta chica está desesperada por un mecánico ʚ (◡) ɞ. Vamos a divertirnos en paiting otoño, pero podrá disfrutar de la primavera!
    Saludos, Sadami

I agree with you Sadami: Fall season is perhaps the most beautiful to paint. Its warm colors, reds, ochres, give it an incomparable beauty. The same as they always have your work. The bike looks real.
A hug and let us enjoy your interpretation of the fall.

  10. Dear Carol,
Thank U, but I haven't read your poem yet and just came home from 1km swimming at a beach.
5 seasons!! How come,MUD from melted snow! I want to have some snow in Sydney, not much like your place. (I hate 'cold.') Oh, what a coincidence, my birthday is in October, too.
    Anyway, have a nice day!

  12. Greetings Sadami! And welcome to Autumn my favorite season when I dress in a worn but colorful cloak in celebration of a well deserved vacation. My trees and flowers have prepared my store house so I might rest knowing in a few short months the activity of birth and renewal will start again. Without the shedding of the old in Autumn and the quiescence of Winter, Spring would be meaningless.

    With love,

  19. Dear Sadami,
Oh, yes, everything is constantly in the motion. We too! The time always runs in the same speed, but in our childhood we never care about it. When we enter into adulthood, we begin to worry about time's running. Completely unnecessary, anyway. :)
I think, the time is the best teacher of serenity. So, we should enjoy every moment of our life, living here and now.
    Happy autumn, Sadami! :)

P.S. Lovely paintings, so plenty of positive energy... And this old man touches my heart.

  21. Dear Akwarelia,
Thank U! Happy Spring to you! Very happy, you love that old man. We share time at hospital.

Once, I asked a physics teacher what time was. Is it a matter like light or something like liquid? His explanations were different(later, I found them in Einstain--beyond my brain.)
Today, "my" answer for what time is---"NOW" ʚ(ˆ◡ˆ)ɞ!! Past is not a matter. Only Now that leads me to Future.
    Yes, full of positive energy!

Yes, physically and mentally, we are very close.

Please take care of your scoliosis. I feel, if not healthy(=light hearted & cheerful), difficult to make happy art work. I'll swim this April. Yesterday, I made 1km. Let us encourage each other to achieve our goals, "becoming healthy."

Oh, don't worry about an astrological sign. Already your art work has proven this truth that Denise, you're a wonderful, creative and exciting woman on the earth!! How can we categorize all of humans with only star signs?? (I still don't know how many star signs are used in astorogy).

How are your hands and a new PC? Once, I suffered in sever arthritis and could not use either hands. So, I determined, when I would get well...
    a)take care of hands
    b)make lots of drawings/paintings!!
    and... to present.

Thank you for the sensitive comment on my work.
Enjoy your autumn in São Paulo:).

  35. A wonderful post, Sadam! I just enjoyed it all: the sketch of the waves (soooo beautiful!), your comments about the australian autumn, about the indissolubility of life and death (I think the same way, our existence is basically a continuous cycle life-death-life ...), about children who do not care about the sentimentalism of adults (but, however, understand more deeply who loves them, like you ...), and the wonderful Sadami who smiles in the rain of leaves .... thanks for this explosion of life and joy! 37.

Hello Sadami, it is true that the fall is a very nice season, but still I like the spring, we began to enjoy the long days and warmer, ideal for painting outside.
These sketches are always awesome, they are the most detailed as the bike, or simply taking expressions or movements such as the girl, or the atmosphere of the sea with its waves, are very versatile and a great artist, I love the lord fell asleep reading your book, the truth is that taking a nap in a deck chair under a tree is larger.
