Lots of love, Sadami
the cancellation of the launch of the Artspace exhibition, People of Parramatta.
Artist Sadami Konchi had a fall earlier last week and has broken her left wrist and aleft shoulder. She also hit her head but fortunately the head injury was not too serious. However, her wrist required an operation.
When I spoke with Sadami she was in quite good spirits and wanted me to proceed with the exhibition, People of Parramatta, trusting me to install it without her guidance. The exhibition will be open from November 19 through to 13 December, but due to circumstances we decided to cancel the launch of the exhibition this Friday, 20 November.
We will keep you posted regarding any future event to meet with the artist. I hope you will still find time to come and view Sadami’s work, and perhaps purchase an early Christmas gift for a loved one.
