1) Wave Heads 2) A great response to Prof Hawking image on FB

Very strong winds bashed/blew up wave heads at Narrabeen. The splashes and yellow orcher sand amused me. Can you believe that Sydney, it was more than 40'? In this sketch, paints got very quickly in a hot air or too soon. I tried three sketches on spot and learned the importance of speed to create washes in an extremely warm weather. Not easy, but I've got some clues. I want to challenge the blown up waves' heads more.

After the sketching, I enjoyed a long distant swimming. Come over, Sydney! Many blogger friends in a northern hemisphere have begun to feel the visit of spring. I hope you'll enjoy capturing waves by watercolour in an upcoming supper.
Thank you very much for a great response and many "likes" on my Prof Hawking portrait both on my Facebook and the post shared by Accessible Arts NSW on Facebook. Accessible Arts NSW  and I are very happy. I hope the image will bring others hope.
Now, I'm working on projects, research and roughs.
Friends, you, too, enjoy life. Happy Painting!

  2. FABULOSO!!!!

Saludos cordiales, Sadami

Thank you very much, so kind Joshemari. There's no magic in my painting. Timing is vital in creating watercolour washes. So, work quickly and find the best timing to make a vanishing point. Colour balance is essential, too. Explore colours as you like. Just draw as you like. "Work on your own style" is important. Kind regards, Sadami

FABULOUS!!!! Sadami, whenever you paint the sea and especially the waves, I am amazed by your art! Some incredible works, that I would like to know how to paint. I've tried it a few times, because even though my house faces the Mediterranean, 350 meters above sea level and with great views, I do not go near the sea. When I'm at home, I'm too lazy to go down. And generally when I'm near the beach, there are never waves !!!
I congratulate you for this painting on waves! And it is not the first time I see paintings on waves of you and it catches my attention. Every time you paint this theme I usually exclaim: OOOOOOOOOHHHHH!
      A hug.

  3. Dear Sadami, your waves are beautifully done. I've only done one painting that was with a time restraint as I was painting an object with the sun on it early in the morning and the sun was coming up quickly. It was about 20 min. to capture it in acrylics. Quite the challenge for me as I was very new to painting. I grabbed my camera to take a few photos to finish the painting from. Such fun! I do hope you are having a wonderful weekend.
