This week Megan returns for online storytime! Megan is also reading a dog story, this time it's 'My Dog Socks' by Robyn Osborne, illustrated by Sadami Konchi and published by Ford Street Publishers. Thanks again to ALIA for negotiating the Online Storytime Agreement with Australian publishers.

A story is the bond between a boy and his dog, Socks. Socks is by turns brave, intrepid, greedy and mischievous, which humorously implies different other animals' features. They overlap the nature of dog, too. Watch out of Socks' shadows in illustration. Kids, enjoy this book with your parents and teachers! (The eight libraries are Chelsea, Cheltenham, Clarinda, Dingley, Highett, Moorabbin, Parkdale, Patterson, Lakes Westall.)

Friends, good news. Our picture book, "My Dog Socks" is shortlisted in the Speech Patholody Award Australia 2018 in the category from 3 to 8 years old! Thank you very much for all the supporters, author Robyn Osborne and Publisher/Daddy Paul Collins. Robyn's wonderful text, her hard work and Daddy Paul, the opportunity given to be published have made it happen. As well as Speech Pathology Award, My Dog Socks is listed on the NSW Premier's Reading Challenge list and CBCA / Children's Book Council of Australia Notables 2018. The most surprise was My Dog Socks in CBCA Notables!! Margaret Hamilton, CBCA, Danny Katz, Mitch Vane and attendees celebrated it together. Mentors, Ann James, Ann Haddon and Helen Chamberlin, too, celebrated it from Melbourne. Thank you very much for all the supporters, an author, Robyn Osborne and a publisher, Paul Collins. *Kind Margaret Hamilton put her hat on me, saying, "You're in. You should put it on." Oh, you're so sweet. I gave her hugs.

Our publishing team and I made it. Big names in our industry know it's not easy to get in the CBCA list. So, they celebrate it together. Other people have said that my notable by a second picture book is quite fast. But it hardly happens. Imagine many good picture books across Australia compete for this annual entitlement. I really thank for your support for ages. I've come to this level step by step. I'll just keep up.
