#sadamikonchi At first, I, a visual artist, wondered if I would fit in International Bilingualism Symposium 2023 hosted by Macquarie Uni though, Prof Piller, Prof Gogolin and Language on the Move Team supported me well. Thank you so much! Yes, Prof Gogolin (first photo) is a "big mama," as Prof Piller described (second portrait).
Prof Gogolin and Prof Piller care for each doctoral candidate and sociolinguists at the early stage of career and pave ways for them. Good on them! Mentorship is a demanding job. I heartily hope the seeds senior sociolinguists have planted will grow and bloom out in the future. See you soon in the near future!! 最初 私のごとき 絵描きが 言語学 会議に 馴染むかしらと思ったのですが 長年 支えてくださってる ピラー 教授, ゴゴリン教授と Language on the Move team が私をよく支えてくれたので 会議を楽しみました!! 私と一緒に立っている ゴゴリン教授は ピラー 教授が 言うように, "肝っ玉かあさん" です!! この2教授は #博士号 の 勉強をしている #社会言語学 の #学生たち を一人一人 よく導き, 駆け出しの 人たち のために 先陣を切り, キャリア始めの人たち を支えています. このように シニアの人たちが 未来に向けて 苗を植え それが今すくすくと育ち 未来に花を咲かせようとしています😍. こんな優しい やり取りを見ていると私は本当に胸がいっぱいになりますし その中に入れてくださってるのをとても感謝しています. すぐにまた会いましょうね!! #sadamikonchi To update my old brain was fantastic😂. The #global hot topics were such as inequalities, accessibilities of human rights and want for social justice. Fabulous to see senior sociolinguists smiling and joy that they were fostering the next generation and pass on their knowledge and skills to juniors. The event, "#Networking" was a fantastic idea for Next Generation Literacies network. Thank you for your hard work, all the behind-the-scene players. 私の 古ぼけた オツムの 埃を 払い, 新しくするのは 誠に良いことです😂. #地球規模 での トレンディな話題は #言葉 の上での #不平等 , ないがしろにされた #人権 そして #社会正義 への #希求 です. 素晴らしいアイデアだったのは #学術会 での #ネットワーキング 作りを していることでした. これは新しい次の世代に向けての ネットワーキング でした. シニアの人たちが こんな風に #若手 を育て #後押し しているのを見て とても感激しました. 先輩の #社会言語学者 の方たち 本当に 大変な苦労をありがとうございます😍👏❤️!! A cheerful chat between our Language on the Move Team and Prof Ofelia García. Ofelia introduced the book, "Life in a New Language." Really touching content of the book. I'm so grateful and proud of working with LOTM team for years. In the past, I organised Prof Ingrid Piller's book covers😍. Language on the Move team と オフェリア グラシア 教授との楽しい会話です. 左で 青い コートを着ているのが ピアです. 右端, 笑っているのが私たちのスーパーヒーロー, team leader, ピラー 教授 です. 真ん中に立っている人が オフェリア です. 新しく出版される予定の 本を オフェリアが 紹介しました. とても 感動する内容で 移民の人たちの立場に立った 調査を して 意義の深い 本にまとめてあります. 私は涙が 幾度も出ました. すでに私は2冊, ピラー 教授の ブックカバーを担当させていただいております. 大変な 名誉ですし 楽しい仕事でした. もう一つ ピラー 教授の ブックカバーを今, 担当しています. 頑張ります!! 精一杯 自分のベストを出して良い作品にと 心から願います😍!

The fantastic humour sense of both, Andrea and Cal, eloquently reveals the model’s being rebel that makes me laugh loud with respect! Kewpie Dolls decorate the crown with colourful balls. Hilarious👏!! Denise Thomas Serves Justice in Social Work

#sadamikonchi Invited to Denise Thomas' speech on “Women and #Justice” in #Parramatta #Salvo on 3rd June and her 34 years social work in a Gov sector, collaborating 80 workers. Her work, the child protection was quite tough, complicated, difficult and demanding. Amazing.... Tears came up in my eyes. Today, she still serves the most vulnerable people in Salvation Army. Another amazing fact was, the experienced senior social worker Denise used "resources / money" from Salvos and supported clients in need desperately and urgently. A huge amount, "million dollars" as well as drought relief. Again, I almost dropped tears to her talk. Tangled issues and very challenging cases have come to Denise. That little lady has handled them all immediately and practically, telling us, "Still, they are the family (even dysfunctional families! = cannot simply get rid of the issues)."

I imagined how much Denise prayed for Lord and asked Him to enhance her faith.... Humble Denise just said, "Have a strong faith." Parramatta の #サルベーションアーミー です​.​ デニス は 34年​,​ #社会福祉士として #児童保護 の分野で オーストラリア 政府の中で 80人の ワーカーと 働いてきました​.​ それは 大変 難しく 様々な問題が絡み合う きつい仕事です​.​ 仕事に 感動し 涙が こみ上げました​.​ 政府の 部署を退職後も​,​ 今日​, ​彼女は 最も 立場の弱い人に サルベーションアーミーで 助けています​.​ もう1つ 私がとても驚いたのは 経験豊かな社会福祉士として デニスは 何100万ドルのも 資金を活用し 切羽詰まって 助けを求めている人に配分していたことです​.​ 私は やはり 涙が こぼれそうになりました​.​ この小さな 偉大な 女性は 難しい問題を 直接に そして 実際に 右に左にと 対処して いるのです​.​ それでもデニスは心優しいところを忘れず​,​ ​"​それでもこの人たちは 家族なのです​," = 簡単に切り捨てるわけにはいかない​,​ また 切羽詰まった問題が山とあるということを忘れません​.​ どんなに デニスは 苦しい時​, ​辛い時 祈って自分の信仰 を 強めるよう 願ったことでしょうか​.​ 謙遜なデニス はただ ​"​強い信仰を持ってください​,"​と 言いました​.​ オーストラリアは 干ばつで 苦しみます​.​ その時に彼女は 何百万ドルもの資金を活用し 困っている人を助けています​.​ 素晴らしいと思いました!!

Established by the first European settlers in the late 1700s that remains Australia's earliest rural development. We're enjoying studying #granulation colours. My handmade supergranulation is Daniel Smith, Lunar Black (granulation) + Schmincke, Alizarin crimson (stain). 近所の #歴史遺産 の #農場 で大好きです. Bella Vista 農場は 20ヘクターの 郊外の 景色の中に 1700s 建てられ 最初の ヨーロッパからの 移住者 の文化遺産, オーストラリアの最も初期の 郊外の 発展 を今に留めているのです👏そこで, 定期的におまつりが あるし, European settlers の いでたち を した 方達が, 歴史遺産例ば, 糸つむぎ, そのたの 実演を してくれます. (スケッチしました!)
