Back to Swimming

Good news. My fractured toe is healing well. I'm back to swimming! Swimming and exercises are recommended by a GP, but be careful not to hurt it again. Many people / regulars talked to me. It was very nice to see kind people. One lady, "You know me! This is my grand son!" showing her little boy with a full smile. Oh, sweet! Other families, "I haven't seen you for a long time!" "You will come, Sat, too?" etc, etc. Oh, it was wonderful. I really appreciate their friendship. Everyone was in a full smile on the beach.
Sketching waves is so refreshing like swimming! Invitation to a ball at a beach. Dancing waves are in mint blue dresses in the afternoon. I love hearing their chatting, too. Come over!

Now, it's nearly at the end of a year. How is your life in 2017? I'm still busy with projects though, I've enjoyed the projects and a journey of art. Thank you for a strong support.

Friends, Happy Painting!

  2. Mar, mar y unas hermosas olas!

Sea, sea and some beautiful waves! You do know how to paint sea scenes in movement. They are great!!
It is this sea that gives you your healing ... but do not even think about taking a bath in the sea you have drawn, because you would be left without a finger and without other things and ... us without Sadami. Heh heh
A hug and happy holidays and good year 2018.

    1. Dear so kind Judy, Thank you, but it's very sad to know about your 2017. Put your health first. Life is too short for us. Let us spend time in "enjoying life" fully. We have no time to either complain or being sad. Judy, I want to see your smile! Best wishes, to you, too! ((Hugs)) Sadami

  4. Hi Sadamy, I'm very glad to read the good news about your healing toe.
Very beautiful painting of waves. And knowing that you did it from observing the waves makes it just stunning! I have tried this, following your advice to look for repeating patterns, but it's so difficult. You just make it seem easy.

    1. Wow, thank u, sweet Blaga! Capturing waves or movement is not hard. Observe the pattern of movement, simplify the captured pattern, choose a dramatic moment and get on drawing. If we try something and find it difficult, it means that we expect it too high. Be kind to ourselves and patiently try tens of millions. Celebrate small achievements. Little by little one goes far. Michelangelo did not draw The Last judgement from the beginning. Beethoven did not compose the nine symphonies from the beginning. Perseverance and enthusiasm is the key and my motivation. Simply, I wanted to capture waves and kept trying! I still want to go beyond. Best wishes, ((Hugs)) Sadami
