Almost primary three colours are dominantly used. In my workshop, I really danced or moved a body big to draw / paint and threw paints to paper like a kid’s water play. さてこれは 私の紙 の使い方についての 日本の皆さんへの 特別 記事になります. 私のこのワークショップは 地方公共資金 を受けて 運営し 材料も全て私の方で用意しておりますが とても 一人一人に Arche papers を 提供することはできません. この ワークショップで実際に使われているのは Reno papers リノペーパーで水を Arche のようには 吸い込みません.
でもこの 私がデモでやった時 うまく にじみ と ぼかしが 出ています. そのコツは どれぐらいの水を 含ませるかということです ( それは経験と勘で覚えるほかありません) 文字通り "水加減"を工夫すれば安い紙でもそれなりの 作品になります. だから私は自分の ワークショップではいつも言うのです "水を制するものが 水彩画を制するのです",と. 私のつたない説明ですが もし何かの参考にできたらしてください. ちなみに 2枚目のスタジオでの作品は Arche で作ってありますのでたくさん水を含ませてあります. #watercolour

#sadamikonchi We so much enjoyed my #watercolour #workshop on #cutfruirs”. Look, each one’s big smile and a fantastic masterpiece! The workshop went very smoothly. “Step by step explanation was good. Especially, it was very helpful, Sadami asked us to draw lines and circles at the beginning like warming up, not directly tackled the subject!” Very happy to know it. Each participant’s drawing speed and individual comprehensive level were different. I always stood with each one's pace and assisted an individual.

Talking of my demo, it came out better than the studio work, I felt! Almost primary three colours are dominantly used. In the class, I really danced or moved a body big to draw / paint and threw paints to paper like a kid’s water play. Splashes went well. I’d say special thanks to the participants! I heartily hope people will discover joy and beauty of watercolour painting in my workshops. See you next month!

私のワークショップ "切った果物" を楽しみました. 見てください みんなの 大きな 笑顔と マスターピース! ワークショップはとてもスムースに運びました. "ステップバイステップ の説明が良かったわ. とりわけ 最初に いきなり 書かずに まっすぐな線をいくつもいくつも 書いたり 円を書いたり 楕円を書いたりする ちょうど ウォーミングアップ みたいな 書くのをやったのは 良かったわーっ"て. あー,それに気づいてくれて私は嬉しかったです. いきなりsubjectsを 書くのは 至難の技ですので 私は最初に肩慣らしが必要だといつも思っているのです! またそれぞれの参加者の書くスピード や理解のレベルは違います. 私はいつも一人一人の レベルに合わせて お手伝いさせていただきました.
自分のデモについては スタジオで作ったのよりもうまくいったので 我ながら笑いました. ほとんど三原色で 賑やかにまとめたのですが, 明るいのっていいねと クスクス笑ってました. 実際クラスの中で私は 紙 の前で 踊ってましたし, 体を大きく動かして 書き 子供の水遊び さながらに 水をバシバシ 飛ばしてました. 水しぶき はうまく飛び散ったしやはりそういう ダイナミックな書き方の方が スタジオで ちまちまと 作ったのよりも良いかもねって 勉強になりました. 参加者の皆さんに 心から 感謝しますし このワークショップで みんなが 水彩画の美しさと 喜びに気づいてくれたら 本望 です また来月会いましょうね!!

Galileo thermometer and Australian Native Habitants

#sadamikonchi Enjoyed creating the watercolour painting, “Under the Southern Cross : Australian Native Habitats & a Thermometer” An old wrapping paper and the colourful #Galileo #thermometer at bargain from a market! I love it. The so-called Galileo thermometer consists of a sealed glass tube that is filled with water and several floating bubbles with coloured liquid. (*I still do not get how to read it!) Wow, what a wise scientist, Galileo you are!!?

The features of this work position between fine arts and picture book illustration. I’ve begun to play with the characters. Can you find any Australian animals and plants? But are they playing around this image? I secretly inserted the Japanese origin butterfly that does not exist on the earth. Can you see it? "南十星のもとに,"  オーストラリアの 固有の #動植物 を #ガリレオ温度計 とともに書きました. 巷で大物理学者の 名を冠すこの温度計は がらくた市で 叩き売りだったので 喜んで買って いつも 眺めています. 小さなガラス玉の中には カラフルな液体が入っていて 温度が 表示され, その日の温度によって 球が浮き沈みします (*でも, 未だ私は これを どう見るのか わかりません😂). 今回はそれを横にして 真ん中の部分が 歪んで見える イメージを 楽しみました.  でも 同じ角度で 一定のイメージを 捉えるのは なかなか大変で いちいち 確認しながら 頑張りました. 日本の皆さんは どれぐらいここに 書かれている動植物を知っているでしょうか? 私にとってはどれも馴染み深いし いつも 目にするものなので 書くこと自体は難しくありませんでした. 

この作品は fine arts, still life と 子供の 絵本 挿絵 の中間になるような作品になりました.  構図を考えると斜め上ほぼ 正面から ラッピングペーパーを 書く時にどこに中心を置いて どれを カットするのか考えました. ただ それ / subjects を書くのは あまりに 味気なかったので 私はイメージの キャラクターたちと遊び始めました.  それぞれのキャラクターたち ボディランゲージは 個性を見せております.   私はジョークが好きですし もうひとひねり したくなり ここに 日本国産の #てふてふ も さりげなく飛んでおります. でも, 野豚, 鹿はもちろん出ません. この手の ジョークは 絵本 挿絵画家は しれっとして 真面目な顔して, かましますので,  そういう jokes を 他の方の作品に 探して読んでは 私は にんやりしております.  思えば オーストラリアへ 来てから 素晴らしい人々に出会い 堅気の道から足を洗い?! "水" 商売に せっせと 励んでおります🤓🤣❤️. いとおかし. ラッピングペーパーは 何十年も昔に 何か 包んであったのでしょうが 記憶がありません 素敵だなと思い 手元に残っています.

Rachael Watson OAM won a Bronze Medal!!

#sadamikonchi Hearty congrats, Rachael Watson OAM won a Bronze Medal in the S3 100m Freestyle!!  Me, too, have started #swimming in the part of rehab. Today, I swim 1 km. Her say has inspired me. "Never give up," "if you put your heart into it and you just try and try and try, you can achieve whatever you want in your life.” I believe in possibility and will walk on my own feet till the end of my life! *S3, = para-swimming classifications, category based on the disability level. People in this class have some arm and hand function, but no use of their trunk and legs. 心から 銅メダル おめでとう, レイチェル ワトソン!! S3, 100m クロール. 私も 彼女と同じく リハビリの一環として 水泳を始め 今では1km こなします. 海で泳ぐのが 一番 好きで, 波に揺られ 潮風と潮騒を聞くのが 大好きです. 彼女の言葉, "絶対に諦めない," "自分が心を 打ち込んで, 頑張り抜いて, それでも続けて まだ 努力するなら, きっとあなたは 自分の人生で何でもできるはずよ," は大好きですし 私もそう信じています. これを 読んでいるあなたに送ります. なお "S3"というのは #パラリンピック の #水泳 の カテゴリーで 障害の程度に応じて 設定されています.
